Flavored Syrup Recipes
We're so excited about these new arrivals - they're gourmet flavored simple syrups! Now you can add the taste of the season to flavor your favorite cocktail, coffee, or even baked goods. To get your creativity flowing, we've borrowed a few recipes from the maker that you might want to try.
Sunday Bacon
8 oz package of prime cut bacon
4 Tablespoons Woodfired Apple simple syrup
Directions: Heat oven to 350. On a parchment lined baking sheet, lay strips of bacon in a single layer. Drizzle each slice with ½ TBSP syrup.
Bake until cooked to your liking, at least 20 minutes
Smoked Hot Toddy
1.5 oz whiskey
.75 oz Woodfired Apple simple syrup
squeeze of lemon
hot water
Directions: Put all ingredients, except hot water into bottom of mug and fill mug with hot water, stir well. Garnish with a lemon wheel and cinnamon stick
Smokey Old Fashioned
1.5 oz Bourbon
.5 oz Woodfired Apple simple syrup
sugar cube
2 dashes of bitters
orange wheel with peel and pith removed
Bourbon cherries (optional)
Directions: Place sugar cube in bottom of Old Fashioned glass and saturate with the bitters, add syrup and orange and muddle until a paste is made. Fill glass with ice cubes, add whiskey and stir well. Garnish with orange wheel and bourbon cherries
Last Harvest Cocktail
1.5 oz rye whiskey
.5 oz Pumpkin Spice simple syrup
.75 oz carrot juice
.5 oz lemon juice
cinnamon stick garnish
Directions: Combine ingredients in glass. Add ice and stir to full dilution. Fill a collins glass with crushed ice and strain drink into glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick and enjoy!
Autumn Hush Cocktail
2 oz dark rum
.5 oz Vanilla Maple simple syrup
2 dashes of Bitters
Toasted Pecans
Directions: Toast a small handful of pecans in a pan until aromatic. Add pecans to glass along with remaining ingredients. Use a muddler to crush pecans slightly, then add ice. Stir to dilution, then double strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Savor the taste of autumn in a glass.
September Sweet Tea
2 oz bourbon
.75 oz double strength black tea
.5 oz Golden Age simply Syrup
.5 oz lemon juice
lemon peel
Directions: Use your favorite black tea and brew at double it's usual strength. Allow tea to cool naturally or in refrigerator. Combine ingredients in glass, add ice and stir to dilution. Strain into coupe glass. Express oil from lemon peel, rim the glass, then discard peel.
