This sheet of direct to film (DTF) transfer images are perfect for personalizing lots of things - apparel, totes, bandanas, hats and more - but our favorite way to use them is to personalize a fabric or leather journal. Each package contains one transfer sheet, but the images can be cut out and used on multiple surfaces (not just one application).

Applying your heat transfer to a journal:
Cut out the artwork you want to use from the clear sheet. Position the artwork on the item where you want it, white side down, film side up. Using a small craft iron on a medium to high heat setting, press firmly and evenly until the image releases from the film (4-10 seconds). For best results, do not "rub" the image, just apply even pressure.
Applying your heat transfer to other fabric surfaces:
Cut out the artwork you want to use from the clear sheet. Position the artwork on the item where you want it, white side down, film side up. Using an iron on a medium to high heat (300 degrees), apply heavy pressure and press evenly for 10 seconds, then release. Peel the film off and cover the image with a Teflon sheet or blank piece of fabric (like a t-shirt), then press again for an additional 10 seconds.
Warning: Using a hot iron is dangerous, so this activity should not be done by unsupervised children or irresponsible adults. Be careful!
