Woodland Holiday Table

This Christmas, my holiday tablescape was inspired by evergreen trees, and I love how it turned out.  First, I used a plain white tablecloth to create a base.  I folded a plaid throw blanket to use as a runner (in the opposite direction). Woodland Holiday Table on barquegifts.com For each place setting, I layered 2 different paper placemats from Hester & Cook - the evergreen trees rectangular mat and the circular, wood die-cut mat.  A coordinating place card with trees (a Barque exclusive) and a decorative, cotton napkin complete the look for each setting. Woodland Holiday Table on barquegifts.com For the center of the table, I wanted something that guests could still see and have conversation through.  I was thrilled upon finding this "Holiday Garland" carrier for 60% off at Jo-Ann's - it was perfect!   All it needed was a little garland, mini battery-operated white lights, a fun ribbon and oversized candy canes to add some color.
