Summer 2015 Market Trends
We just got back from shopping Atlanta Market over the weekend and couldn't wait to share with you what looks like the hottest trends for this fall! {As a designer, a bonus for noticing the trends is that it can inspire me to create products that will merchandise nicely with those emerging trends.}
Lots of fun new items will be headed our way over the next few months, but until then, take note of what we declare as "IN" for Fall 2015!

+ WHIMSY +
Normally florals and whimsical designs are reserved for Spring, but we noticed a lot of great floral motifs at this Market - on cards, stationery sets, aprons, recipe boxes, and more {like this Baby's First Year book}
+ UNICORNS +
It's not a figment of your imagination - unicorns are trending up! We've seen an increase in the one-horned beauties on everything from greeting cards to headbands to plush toys and kids books! It looks like fall 2015 is going to be a magical one, friends!
+ GOLD +
Yes, still. And everyone wants it – gold foil on greeting cards and beverage napkins and everyday stationery and wedding invitations. Metallic gold prints on home decor and fashion accessories. Gold, gold, gold is all the rage! {Isn't that gold stripe tumbler from Kate Spade gorgeous?! No doubt those will fly off the shelf when they arrive.}
+ COLOR +
We are loving the vibe we got from this July Market - a mix of "earthy" textures, but in a bright, cheerful way - think embroidered Mexican blouses and Turkish Kilim pillows, but in bold or neon colors. Jon Hart also has a new collection of two-toned grandes that offer a fun pop of color in the leather patch and zipper! It's refreshing to see so much color for this fall instead of usual jewel-tones and dark neutrals.
Update since January Market: Gray is still HOT - it's taking this year by storm!
