Turkey Day Charcuterie Board

This is a fun idea to for your next Thanksgiving get-together... a "turkey" charcuterie board!  It's the perfect grazing board for your family and friends to snack on while the bird is still in the oven.

First, cut a pear in half to create the "body" of the turkey.  Add cloves for eyes and slivered almond for the beak.  Cut a carrot in the shape of legs.

Then, starting with a variety of folded meats, "fan" out from the turkey body and fill in with all of the other board goodies - fruits, nuts, vegetables, cheeses, honeycomb, jam, pretzels, olives, etc.  Whatever your family likes is just fine - presenting like this just makes for a fun atmosphere.
